Good Friday, Passover, the Day of
Redemption… This is the day, the holy day─ Passover 33ad Jesus carried the beam
of His cross to Golgotha, it was on the Cross He died and shed His blood to pay
the price for the penalty of sins….My sins, your sins!
What was the penalty for sin;
separation from God, death and eternity in hell…
By His death on the Cross─ He
redeemed us from hell, and opened the gate leading into Heaven that we would
live eternally.
When we come to Him, and believe in
Him our sins are blotted out, we are reborn into God’s Holy Kingdom.
No greater love can anyone
demonstrate then to lay their life down that another might live. Our Savior on 33ad
laid His life down on the Cross and paid the penalty for our sin that we would
live
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not
perish but have everlasting life.
