If I could suggest, “America is like a great cruise liner.. The
Captain was a good man, and loved its passengers. Its passengers were healthy,
and enjoyed their freedom to roam about the ship as they desired, living on the
great ship was good, really good.
But then naive powerful greedy leaders arose from the belly of
the ship, and wanted to take the great ship in a different direction to prosper
themselves.
Eventually through great trickery they forced the helm from the
good Captain, and put it in the hands of an evil captain that guided the great
ship directly into the path of a powerful hurricane; confusion and mutiny
erupted, fighting and discord was everywhere. Sadly many people were trampled
to death.
The new Captain and his crew walled off the Quarter deck,
protecting themselves from any who would try to turn the great ship back from
the looming disaster.
When the tidal wave from the approaching hurricane swept over
America it suffered devastating wreckage, its financial institutions collapsed,
millions became slaves of the new captain and his evil crew; poverty, death,
violence, evil, and sickness swept throughout the great Ship, and yet the evil
Captain refused to turn back, he was determined to reach his destination.
There was no safe haven to anchor, no nearby islands the
desperate passengers could swim to. The life boats were already gone, sadly
they had waited to long, their opportunity to save themselves was gone.
Increasingly, the sea grew choppier, and spilled over into the
ship; food and supplies became scarce. People fought for a moldy piece of
bread.
Many times we thought we were goners, and the ship would sink,
but miraculously we were able to sail on. Sadly, the Captain and his crew
refused to listen to any warnings and hear the pleas of those begging to turn
back before it was too late.
Chaos erupted throughout the great liner, but the evil captain
didn't care he was consumed with reaching his destination and didn’t see the
large iceberg drifting aimlessly below the surface, he struck it with such
force it caused a fracture in the hull and water flooded in; soon our great
ship America was sinking..
“Why did this happen” pastor wrote, “it didn’t have too; we
didn’t have to end like this. It’s our fault, we’re consumed with getting rich,
and embraced lies from prophets who declared it was God’s will we become rich,
that we live in comfort, and no evil would come upon us.".
My beloved it’s our fault. We’re consumed with prosperity,
comfort and power, and did not see the iceberg below the surface, our eyes was
fixed on the destination, not the immediate threat.
“Sadly” pastor wrote “I too was caught up in the schemes of the
evil Captain believing we would turn around before it was too late, believing
everything would be OK, and America would be rescued from the evil captain and
his crew.
“God,” I preached “loved America, and would not allow her to be
destroyed, no matter what sins or evil she committed. She was blessed by the
Lord. But oh my beloved, I was so wrong.”
A wave of sick perversion swept through America. Seventy million
abortions, changing God’s holy laws of nature; transgender, drug abuse,
alcoholism, we winked at, and shamed those who didn’t agree and tried to call
us back to repentance before it was too late. We mocked and laughed at them,
and persecuted them for telling us the truth.
But today, I cling to the rail of America as it sinks, looking
at other terrified faces, like me they too face the righteous judgement of the
Holy God of Heaven. We denied His name and rejected His Holy Laws, and trampled
on the Blood of His Son Jesus Christ, but now we face His judgement.
